Suburban Murder Mystery Still Unsolved After One Year

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. - Exactly one year after the mysterious murder, friends of Angela Moss are frustrated with the lack of progress in the hunt for her killer.

After shooting Moss, 39, in the head, the killer dumped her body along California Road in Orchard Park just yards from the nursing home where Moss worked.

Her close friends and co-workers held a vigil at the site where police found Moss' body. They prayed, released balloons into the sky, and pleaded for anyone with information to come forward.

"There's so many things we were supposed to do that's just not done," said a sobbing Lorraine Washington, a friend of Moss. "And she didn't bother any body. That's what kills me."

Washington and other friends express disappointment that Orchard Park Police have not caught the killer.

2 On Your Side's Ron Plants asked Lieutenant Pat McMaster about the case, and the frustration from Moss's family and friends.
