The Great Debate: Tims Tops Dunkin

The Great Debate: Tims Tops Dunkin

Last week, 2 Your Town asked you the viewers to help us settle the longstanding debate of Tim Hortons vs. Dunkin Donuts and today we have declared a winner.

With 440 votes cast, Tim Hortons is Western New York's choice as the best coffee, best food, best prices, and ultimate favorite choice for your morning drive.

Not a total washout, Dunkin Donuts received about 30% of the votes in every category.

The Great Debate: Dunkin Donuts vs Tim Hortons

The Great Debate: Dunkin Donuts vs Tim Hortons

It's a decision that most Western New Yorkers make every morning: Dunkin Donuts or Tim Hortons.

For most that decision is almost instinctual, but with both chains having a strong following we have to ask, who's better?

What Happens When Buffalo Goes to Vegas....

What Happens When Buffalo Goes to Vegas....

After a long and dreary winter it was time for some action.  I couldn’t think of a better place to feel alive again than Las Vegas, Nevada.  So last Wednesday I packed up my suitcase, grabbed my friend, Marilynn, and hit the airport.  When we arrived it was 9:30am and it was already 92 degrees.  By mid afternoon we were lounging at the Cosmopolitan Hotel pool in 109 degree heat.

When we planned the trip a few weeks ago we had no idea anyone else from Buffalo would be there but we ended up finding ourselves in quite a Western New York re-union.  The first night we were there the Palms Hotel was hosting the NHL Awards.  A friend of ours was there for the awards and we were able to hang out at the after party where we met John Hamm from the television show "Mad Men".

Thursday night we met up with some friends on the Buffalo Bills who were staying at the Wynn Hotel for a charity event held by Garth Brooks.  The Teammates for Kids

Dealing with Unknown Cancers, Stigmas and Myths that Surround Them

Well there is no simple way of saying this so…..I have been diagnosed with cancer. I have form that until a few years ago was unknown. The cancer I have is of the same type that is known as cervical cancer. BUT it is a form that ONLY attacks men and develops into throat cancer.

Last year over 6500 new cases of men getting this was found. The CDC believes that in less than 10 years. This cancer will be more prevalent that cervical cancer. Yes more men will get this than women who get cancer. The problem…THERE IS NO TEST for this in men. Not the same for women. Men find out AFTER they systems arrive.

My doctors missed it; they did not see it for what it was. They saw it as a cold, virus, allergy that would go away. That was 5 months ago…they were WRONG.

NO ONE is immune. I mean no one.
