Buffalo Warriors Make Big News by Signing 7’4” Center and Well-known Recording Artist | News
The Buffalo Warriors, set to make their 2013 debut in the Premier Basketball League (PBL), have made two huge off-season moves by inking 7’4” center Moussa Seck of Senegal and well-known recording artist TreVonn “Diego Trinidad” Campbell to contracts.
The 222-pound Seck, known as the tallest man in Senegal, most recently played professionally for the Texas Legends of the NBA Development League, according to Buffalo Warriors owner Ed Bednarz.
Campbell, who had workouts with several NBA D-League teams and has played in the NBA Summer League, is co-CEO of The Global Group LLC. He previously had a record deal with Snoop Dogg’s Doggtown Music Group before launching his own company. A 6’1” point guard, Campbell has a career average of 26.4 points and 7.5 assists per game.
Additionally, the team announced last week the signing of Patrick Fussell as head coach. Fussell most recently served as head coach of Al Najma Club Bahrain, and has also coached professional teams in France and several minor league basketball teams in the United States.
The PBL season will kick off on March 1, 2013. The team’s home venue and additional player, coaching staff and front office signings will be announced in the coming weeks.
