Senate Passes Grisanti Bill That Requires Certification and Education For Central Service Technician

Senator Mark Grisanti (R-60) today announced that the New York State Senate has voted to pass Bill S.5155D that will improve the quality control procedures in hospitals throughout the State of New York.  This bill will require individuals who work in the supply of central services to hospitals to be certified and undergo continuing education.

Grisanti Resolution Designates May As Motorcycle Safety And Awareness Month

Senator Mark Grisanti (R-60) today announced that by order of a resolution passed by the New York State Senate and signed by Governor Andrew Cuomo, May shall be designated as Motorcycle Safety and Awareness Month.  As the number of motorcyclist increases there becomes a greater need to teach riders how to operate their machines safely and the general public needs to become more aware of the proper ways to safely share the road with bikers. This resolution is designed to remind the public that another riding season has started and that they should be alert to the presence of motorcycles on the streets and highways.

Much like County Executive Poloncarz, Fahey comes from traditional Western New York roots. The son of a Buffalo police officer and one of nine children, Fahey is a South Buffalo homeowner who understands the value of hard work and believes in the future of this community. Also like Poloncarz, after completing college, Fahey worked in the private sector before entering public service.

State Assembly seat. Fahey is calling for the Thruway Authority to live up to their end of the bargain and invest in our roads as they said they would when they asked for the toll hike.

Chris Fahey, Democratic candidate for the 145th Assembly District, outlined his plans to bring reforms to Albany.  Fahey is running in the Special Election to be held on March 20 to fill the seat vacated by Mark Schroeder.

Chris Fahey, Democratic candidate in the race for New York’s 145th Assembly District, announced plans to fight for a workable plan for Roswell Park Cancer Institute (RPCI) that allows the Institute to gain solid financial footing in a manageable period of time so that the value of its research mission is not lost.  New York State has indicated it intends to cut off funding to Roswell within two years.
